Uninstall To Bloom

I uninstalled Facebook from my phone on February 5, 2021. I was becoming an addict, to my standards. To some of my friends, I actually am a lightweight. I believe I have 153 friends on Facebook and over 220 followers on my business page. That is good for me. Ever since the pandemic started , I have consumed more screen time than healthy and necessary. I allowed myself to accept a friend liking a post to be the same as an actual phone call.

I’m done.

So in order for me to have actual conversations , be it text or talk, I have to initiate it and stop waiting for people in my life to get the hint. So , first step was uninstalling Facebook from my phone. I have it installed on my tablet. I only use my tablet when necessary and when I have to travel. Instagram is still on my phone for now, just to share quick videos and pics about my business.

At any time Instagram and Facebook could delete or block access, system could shut down, account could get hacked. So I figured now is a more than a good time to setup myself up.

The next day , my Schlumbergera ( Christmas cactus) decided to bloom after being dormant for 10 months. I wonder, the more I started separating myself from social media, what else can the plants in my life show me? The “ SoHoTh” Project.

This is Thor. Looks good in pink.
