Social Horticulture Facilitation

I am a horticultural facilitator, not a therapist. I work with Licensed mental health practitioners in creating Nature psychoeducation programming. This use of the natural environment is to enhance mental health, reduce stress, anxiety, and depression by fostering non- intimidating connection with nature.

Venue Preference:

My work focuses on the relationship between nature and mental health, and the programs are most impactful when they take place in natural environments. I prioritize hosting events in settings such as nature centers, botanical gardens, forests, plant shops/nurseries and other outdoor or nature-connected spaces where participants can directly engage with the environment.

To keep the experience welcoming to people of all backgrounds and belief systems, I also hold programs in spiritually neutral venues rather than on religious campuses.
